Learn how you can have a blissful Christmas
Looking around, it is easy to notice how many people are already stressed about Christmas. Rushing around buying presents, hunting for bargains, talking to others about who to invite, who should be staying at whose house, and what to cook when. Facial expressions are showing tension, uneasiness and stress. Pressure is all around us, with best present deals, supermarket delivery slots and late night shopping. It feels almost like Christmas is tomorrow, so everyone has to have everything ready today.
So what has happened to the real Christmas feeling? Yes, we can see more elaborate Christmas lights and decorations, more Christmas market stalls, but we are so stressed about all the preparations that we have no room in our agenda to enjoy ourselves. Worry has overcome us so much that we are too overwhelmed with it to feel the beauty and peace of Christmas. Sometimes the reason we put so much pressure on ourselves is because we are trying to be perfect or trying to please everyone without thinking about how this can affect our own emotional well-being. Or a bit of both!
But it doesn’t have to be this way.
Ask yourself, "what if?", "What if I keep it simple and smile?", "What if my turkey is not the most expensive one and the roasts are not perfect?", "What if I do buy vouchers for family members to avoid rushing into shops after work?", "What if I slow down and enjoy the smell of Christmas trees and remember what Christmas is about: being together, having a laugh and enjoying some peaceful time out?"
I would like to invite you to do just that. To think about how you can have a blissful Christmas. Reconnecting with Christmas, with yourself and with a sense of bliss. Maybe it means talking to people you haven’t talked to for a while, maybe it needs to be time invested in your own well-being and maybe it means talking to someone who can guide you in your journey to good health.
Hypnotherapy can be an amazingly powerful way to change when you feel you need to be perfect, or when you always think about others discounting your own needs. During the process you can discover why you behave the way you behave and how you can take steps to change your ‘programs’ in order to take care of yourself better and enjoy your life more.
No pressure, no worries, just pure bliss.
