Beat Anxiety!! Take Control of your Life
The majority of us will experience Anxiety at some point in our lives, it’s our body’s natural response to stress or fear and can happen when faced with difficult or challenging situations.
The problem arises when the anxiety becomes overwhelming and the response is out of proportion to situations or when there is no real threat or danger. The body then reacts with the “fight or flight “response and prepares to protect itself by sending adrenalin into the body which can cause many symptoms and may even result in a panic attack.
If you suffer with Anxiety you may be aware of the following Physical Symptoms:
- Pounding heart and chest pains
- Shortness of breath
- Shaking and tremors
- Drowsiness and tiredness
- Feeling dizzy and light headed
- Excessive sweating
Anxiety can cause many psychological symptoms which can result in you feeling irritated, restless and experiencing a sense of dread to the extent of fearing having a heart attack or even death. Anxiety and panic attacks are not dangerous; however, they can be very frightening and uncomfortable.
