Be the best that you can be!

I truly believe that we are on this planet to shine and to be the best that we can possibly be. We are all doing the best we can with the knowledge that we have at that particular time. As Marianne Williamson said, "Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?"
We all have the potential to be free, free from depression, free from anxiety, free from fear, anger etc. These are all subconscious programmes running from the past which are affecting us today. However, things can be different! Using hypnotherapy, neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) and emotional freedom technique (EFT/tapping) the subconscious mind can be re-programmed.
When an event happens to us, we judge it and attach emotions to it. The same event could happen to you and I, and whilst I may get angry, you may laugh it off. But it is the same event. Therefore it is our perception of the event and the emotion that we attach to it that becomes the issue. It is the emotion that holds us back. Emotion is energy in motion, but that energy can become stuck. It is the emotion that we store in our perception and our physical body that causes the issue.
We can split negativity into two dimensions, past and future. Eckhart Tolle in his book 'The Power of Now' says "Unease, anxiety, tension, stress, worry are all forms of fear and are caused by too much future and not enough presence. Guilt, regret, resentment, grievances, sadness, bitterness and all forms of forgiveness are caused by too much past and not enough presence".
Using the techniques above, a hypnotherapist can help you to clear the past so that your future can be one to look forward to and then the present can be become what it is meant to be, a gift!
