Are you holding out for that lucky break?

If you find yourself thinking “if only I could just win the lottery then everything in my life would be fine.” you may be missing out on things that could actually improve your quality of life right now.
Too many people sit back and wait for that “lucky break” and dream of the day when their particular ship will come in!
Ask yourself how would winning the lottery genuinely improve your life? Okay so the obvious answer is that it would give you more money.
A scientific research study found that good effective therapy is actually better at making people happy than money! This is because of two main reasons;
- Effective therapy will help you resolve even long standing issues that have caused unhappiness and frustration and prevented you from achieving what you want in life. So previous barriers to success and fulfilment are removed.
- The fact is that if you do not know how to effectively manage the money you do have (no matter how small the amount is!) then merely having more will not teach you this. So if you did ever get that elusive win, you would probably just spend it, lose it, or waste it, only faster and on a larger scale!
Take a little time to carefully consider what you think a large sum of money would give to you, do for you or get for you? When people think about what would be possible if they won the lottery they stop limiting what they think is possible and so your answers to these questions will help you begin to realise perhaps what is currently not working in your life, what is really important to you and what you want from life. You may well then decide there are things that you can do yourself to achieve this right now, rather than simply pinning your hopes of happiness on that little pink ticket.
It may also be useful to be honest with yourself in terms of what you would like to change about you. Rather than focussing on the circumstance of your life, or what you would like to change about others... focus on what needs to change about YOU. This is where your true power lies.
Because hypnotherapy is a means of discovering and exploring our deeper thoughts, feelings, motivations and perceived barriers to success it may be useful in helping you identify, clarify and achieve your goals.
