10 steps to a motivated you

1. Small steps
Choose one small achievable task to begin with. Complete this step before moving on to the next. Discipline your mind to believe that you will fulfil your dreams. This will send a powerful message to your inner mind and increase your confidence which helps to build momentum.
2. Choose one goal
I am sure you have many paths that you wish to travel with your career, family, health, wealth and personal challenges. Starting with only one goal in the forefront of your mind allows you to naturally build your confidence and can help you feel focused as you complete each task.
3. Keep your eyes on the ball
Focus, focus, focus and make it your priority. You’ve got to really want it, not half-heartedly, wholly and completely. When your thoughts naturally drift on to something else, you need to push the distractions away.
4. Give yourself a pat-on-the-back
Do you remember those gold stars that you received at school? Paid attention in class = gold star. Give yourself a small reward every time you complete a task.
Read books, go on courses, book a trainer, and stretch your mind to keep the fire burning.
6. The company you keep
Surround yourself with like-minded people, their drive will effortlessly feed yours.
7. Support others
Teaching and encouraging others helps give you a shot of the feel good factor and a natural energy boost.
8. Keep a mood journal
Be aware of when you are fired up and when you lack drive. You will find it easier to encourage the triggers that energise you.
9. Mindful thinking
Let go of the past and worries of the future as you take time to relax and revitalise.
10. Just do it
Go for the plunge. There are no mistakes; each step is a learning process.
