Further Details:

In this practical 1-day workshop we will be exploring the different ‘parts/voices’ active in a story, and relating these to aspects of ourselves.

We are all made up of different ‘parts’, sometimes feeling confident in ourselves, sometimes unsure. One part wants to choose this, another that. Sometimes we wear different masks or personas depending on the situation in which we find ourselves: think about how you are at work compared to when at home or out with friends.
When are you most authentic – the real you? Who is the real you and what story does he or she have to tell?

It’s almost as if we are several different ‘selves’ all competing for attention. Who is shouting the loudest? Whose version of the story is more
powerful? Which version is the one that can help you the most right now?

It is by first identifying and then working with each part or archetypal pattern that we can come to a deeper understanding of ourselves and the stories we live our lives by.

Whether hero, villain, martyr, saboteur, shadow, all these ‘parts’ and archetypes have a role to play and a story to tell.

The cost of the workshop is £60. Light refreshments are provided throughout the day and a certificate of attendance is given to all participants.

Booking and more information is at www.storiesforlife.co.uk or call Gavin or Kate with any questions you might have on 0845 450 2326.

We look forward to meeting you and exploring archetypal patterns and stories.
