This is an ongoing Self Hypnosis Meditation Evening which starts 02/11/11 people are welcome to attend any of the sessions on any Tuesday evening by prior email or phone call.
You will learn the difference between Meditation and Self Hypnosis and Fantasy Visualisations to enable you to discover ways that work for you that you can practice in your daily life.
The Human Body is a miraculous machine, it is designed to be well and those that practice meditation benefit greatly by taking time to let go of "doing" all the time and instead experience the benefits of just "being", whilst connecting to the Subconscious otherwise known as the Higher Self. This practice develops the intuition, helps you define the difference between the knowing part of you instead of the inner critics habitual chatter (the nagging voice in the back of your head), stress can be managed and lessens and this provides wellbeing.
The Subconscious is the all knowing part of you, it gives you signals in various ways internally and externally throughout the day to guide you. When you experience pain this is a messenger to alert you, a signal that you need to pay attention to something, check something or make a life change. Those that meditate regularly become more "in tune" with these signals and what they represent before they worsen. Positive change can develop with the ability to balance emotions and become aligned with what you value and the way you want to be.
There are 4 Brain Wave Levels;
Beta - wide awake and alert,
Alpha - First level of altered state of mind,
Theta - Deepest level of trance,
Delta - Asleep
We will be accessing the Alpha Brain Wave Level which provides much rest and rejuvenation to the mind, emotions and body as all are interconnected.
