This workshop is being delivered by Dipti Tait, author of 'Good Grief' and owner and manager of The Cotswold Practice in Cirencester. Dipti is a Clinical Hypnotherapist and lectures on The Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma Programme for The Clifton Practice.
The aim of this workshop, is to understand how to help yourself and your client manage pain through self hypnosis.
We explore pain management techniques and use practical exercises to endorse the lessons learnt during the afternoon.
This is a tailored workshop for a maximum of 24 people in a comfortable and friendly environment running from 2:00pm - 5:30pm.
The workshop costs £40.00 and includes the following:
- All accompanying training notes.
- Certificate of Attendance - this event counts as 3.5 Hours of CPD.
- Afternoon Tea and Cakes

The Self-hypnosis for pain workshop helps us to help our clients. We will cover the following points illustrated with case studies and examples where possible;
What is pain?
- Redefine the word ‘pain’ – turn ‘pain’ into ‘gain’
Teaching the following self-hypnosis tools:
- Create a useful ‘outcome frame’ and definition for pain
- Editing ‘pain information’ the brain takes on
- How to relax the pain signal
- Re-frame the environment with congruence
- Create a ‘safe’ place in the mind.

About the host
Caroline Huish is a full time Clinical Hypnotherapist. She is also an NCH and AfSFH Accredited Supervisor. Additionally, she is Practice Manager of The Old Rectory Clinic; a multi-disciplinary complementary healthcare clinic Bristol.
