Is hypnotherapy suitable for children and young people?
However, because of the different considerations when working with children and teenagers, many hypnotherapists are wary of doing so.
Our one day seminar is an introduction to understanding what you need to know and how to start to build your knowledge of adapting your skills to working with this growing client group. The day will enable you to gain that understanding and equip you with the knowledge to begin to develop your own children’s hypnotherapy programs to accommodate each client's individual requirements.
The seminar is suitable for both qualified and student hypnotherapists
You will learn:
- Consent and safeguarding.
- When and how to work with parents.
- How to explain your work to your young clients.
- Client tasking.
- What to look out for.
- Typical presenting issues.
- Adapting interventions for children.
Tea and coffee, course materials and certificate of attendance will be provided.
