Help your clients to recognise manipulative behaviour and learn techniques to regain self-esteem

Criticism, coercion and control is a one day CPD course for therapists interested in increasing their knowledge and confidence in working with clients who are in manipulative or controlling relationships. These may be with partners, family members or work colleagues. 

You will learn:

  • the dynamics of controlling and manipulative individuals
  • the law around controlling and coercive behaviour
  • how to work with clients who are in a controlling relationship using CBT and hypnotherapy
  • how to support clients experiencing controlling behaviour at work or at home
  • where to refer clients for further help

Attendees will also receive a script pack for use with their clients.
