Former heads of Charles’s alternative therapy charity have set alternative medicine college
The former heads of the complementary medicine charity which was set up and headed by the Prince of Wales, have now joined forces to launch a college which promotes and supports the use of integrated treatment in the NHS.
After the recent closure of the Foundation of Integrated Health, its four senior officials have set up a course which they hope will raise support for holistic medicine.
Integrated treatment is said to benefit patients because it accounts for their beliefs and helps them to take control of and manage their own health.
A slide show for the College of Integrated described it as “a new strategy to take forward the vision of HRH Prince Charles” and “The evolution of his Foundation for Integrated Health’s work to date”.
