NHS reward scheme for weight loss hypnotherapy
Our sister site Counselling Directory recently reported news of the NHS £’s for pounds scheme, which rewards those who manage to loose weight with cash. A similar scheme has also used the same incentive to encourage smokers to quit.
The National Institute for Health and Clinical Evidence (NICE) who came up with the idea to reward people in this way to reduce long term strain on the NHS, are now looking at extending the scheme to reward those who have Weight Loss Hypnotherapy to shed excess pounds.
In response to a successful scheme in Kent which helped people to loose weight through hypnotherapy, it has been suggested that successful patients be rewarded £425.
This may seem like a large amount but long term it will save the NHS a great deal of money and resources.
