Many Brits struggling with anxiety over their debt

According to statistics around one in three of us struggle with anxiety over our financial debts. Additionally almost one in three of us choose to hide this fact from our loved ones.

Hidden debt can eventually lead to serious emotional and physical issues and the inability to share this with family and friends will often lead to stress, insomnia and other symptoms of anxiety.

Average personal debt in the U.K currently stands at £9,731.51 which excludes mortgages, though most of us only own up to half of this if discussing with a partner or family member.

One in five try to keep their debt from their partner and 78% have never confessed the true extent of their debt to a loved one.
