Hypnosis for panic attack

Panic attacks are increasingly common in today’s society. They can be brought on by a number of factors, ranging from anxiety to the stresses of everyday life. Those going through the menopause will also be familiar with the unpleasant unexpected attacks.

There is a number of different treatments available to try and reduce panic attacks. Psychotherapy and medication are among the traditional forms, although medication can produce side effects almost as bad as the attacks themselves and have little benefit as they only work for a small amount of people who take them. Counselling is another form of treatment, although there are no negative side effects it can take months to achieve results.

Hypnotherapy on the other hand, is a quick way of reducing attacks and could even eliminate them on a permanent basis.

Regression therapy is one of the most common forms and involves the hypnotherapist taking you back to previous memories which could be the route of the attacks. Once you are hypnotised your therapist will have you regress to past events that could be contributing to your anxiety. This process will assist you in letting go of emotional attachments once you’ve revisited them.

This will leave you free to enjoy your life, hopefully minus the stress. Your hypnotherapist will also teach you how to deal with stressful situations on your own in order to keep those panic attacks at bay!
