Holistic clinic reveals success of hypnotherapy in conceiving
A holistic clinic in Edinburgh is promoting alternative support for IVF treatment, reports the Edinburgh News.
The Edinburgh Natural Fertility Clinic uses natural alternatives to help women conceive, and said that their latest figures for 2007-2008 showed that 47% of those who received treatment at the centre conceived successfully.
The Clinic highlighted that there are many options to help support traditional IVF treatment, such as hypnotherapy and acupuncture. They also give advice support to help couples conceive naturally, without IVF, and said that giving couples fertility awareness advice made them three times more likely to conceive.
Deirdre Armstrong, who runs the clinic, said: “Many couples are not aware of the effect stress and busy workloads have on their reproductive health.
“By using complementary therapies we look to use an integrated approach to treat fertility problems.”
