Therapist offers carers hypnotherapy to help deal with stress

Carers in the Bolton area are being offered hypnotherapy at a reduced rate in order to help them reduce their stress levels, reports The Bolton News.

Jane Grundy, a complementary therapist, used to suffer from severe narcolepsy, and is now offering her services to help others deal with their own stresses and strains.

She said: “The benefits are unbelievable. After two or three sessions, they look completely different people. If you can work with your body through meditation, it’s like you can give your brain a break.

“There must be people in Bolton who are sitting at home feeling isolated, and getting out for a half-hour treatment or having us come to them would do them so much good.”

Jane offers a range of different treatments, and due to the sometimes inflexible nature of a carers job, she offers them in her practice or will undertake home visits.
