Hypnotherapy help cure addictions and save money
An article over at Get Bracknell highlights how more people are turning to hypnotherapy to help cure their addictions.
Particuarly during such tough economic times, smokers in particular are trying to kick the habit in order to save money.
Chris Carter, 56, realised he needed to keep up smoking cigars after a 35 year habit for the sake of his and his children’s health, and tried hypnotherapy. He said of his experience: “You are aware of things going on around you but you are so relaxed that it does not matter, you just listen to what is being said and realise that your addiction is not such a big deal, it is something you did but now no longer do.
“I have not picked up a cigarette since I completed the course – I am not going to say I have not been tempted, because I have – but in my mind I am no longer a smoker and so I will not go back.”
