Different exercise gives different food cravings
Exercise is the best way to lose weight, but the kind of exercise you do can affect your food cravings afterward, reports The Guardian.
Dr David Stensel carried out the research into the relationship between different kinds of exercise and food cravings, which is based on the body’s changing temperature, and it’s attempt at keeping it stable. For example, swimming in cold water will make the body crave fatty foods which would give a protective layer, whereas lifting weights will make the body want foods rich in protein and carbs to help strengthen muscles.
Exercise however does suppress appetite for one to there hours afterwards, depending on the intensity of the exercise, meaning that generally people do not eat more than they would had they not done the exercise.
